Bridging the gap between hunger and hope.
A neighbourhood food bank at 2107 Weston Rd, in Weston–Mount Dennis. Here’s what we do, when we opened, and the people responsible for it.
Meet our board
Free groceries for anyone in Toronto who needs them, on a Friday evening or a weekend afternoon.
“At LHTC Foodbank, our mission is to combat food insecurity in the Greater Toronto Area. We are dedicated to providing nourishing food to individuals and families in need, ensuring they have access to essential nutrients for a healthy life.”
March2026
The month we opened the food bank.
It started as a program of Lighthouse Training Center, a registered Canadian charity working in Weston–Mount Dennis. We’re one of more than 140 member agencies in Daily Bread Food Bank’s network, which supplies part of what is on our shelves. The rest is donated locally.
