What we do with what you send us.

The form on the Contact and Get Involved pages asks for your name, an email address or phone number, what the message is about, and the message itself. We use it to write back to you and for nothing else.

The message is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, to our inbox at [email protected]. FormSubmit handles it only long enough to send it on, under its own privacy policy at formsubmit.co. We keep the email until the conversation is finished.

If that delivery fails, nothing has been sent and the form says so. It then offers to open your own email app with the same message written into it, addressed to [email protected]. That email leaves from your app and passes through nothing of ours.

The form has a hidden field that people never see and automated senders tend to fill. If it is filled, the message is dropped before it is sent.

This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. We do not know who visits or which pages they read.

The maps on the Get Food and Contact pages are loaded from Google Maps. When one loads, Google receives the request and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. If you would rather it did not, the address and the directions link work without the map.

Donations go through CanadaHelps, registration goes through Daily Bread's Link2Feed, and we link to Daily Bread Food Bank, Instagram and Facebook. Each of those has its own privacy policy, and what you do there is between you and them.

Registering as a client happens through Daily Bread's shared system, not through this site. What it asks for and how it is kept is in Daily Bread's own words on dailybread.ca, and you can ask us about it at the door.
